NCB seizes Kashmiri Charas worth 1.5 crore from car in central Gujarat

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today nabbed three members of a drug racket and recovered around 14 kg of Charas worth Rs 1.5 crore from a car near Karjan toll booth in Vadodara district.
Those nabbed have been identified as a local singer from Surat Hanif, Fakir Salim Shah and Allah Rakha.
NCB zonal director Hari Om Gandhi said that based on a tip the Charas originally brought from Kashmir was seized from an Alto car GJ 19 AF 9243..
The Charas was sent from a drug racket from Kashmir. It was brought by a Kashmiri person of the racket up to Ajmer in Rajasthan from where Allah Rakha and Fakir brought it to Ahmedabad by bus and then Salim received them in his car and the trio were going towards Bharuch for delivery of the charas when they were intercepted and nabbed at around 7 am this morning, he said.
Fakir was also caught from smuggling of drugs earlier in Vadodara.
