વડોદરામાં દર્દીનું મોત થઈ જતા ઉશ્કેરાયેલા દર્દીના સગા-મિત્ર યુવાનોએ ભેગા થઈને આ માટે ડોકટરને જવાબદાર ગણી ડોક્ટરની સરેઆમ રસ્તા પર ધોલધપાટ કરી હતી. આ ધોલધપાટ એવી તો ક્રૂર હતી કે ડોક્ટરને ધોલધપાટ બાદ ખુદને જ ઈન્ટેન્સીવ કેર યુનિટમાં દાખલ કરવા પડ્યા હતા. વડોદરાભરના ડોક્ટરોએ આ ઘટના સામે વિરોધ નોંધાવવા માટે એક દિવસનું બંધનું એલાન આપ્યુ હતુ જેના પગલે વડોદરામાં બે સરકારી દવાખાના સિવાયની તમામ તબીબી સારવારની કાર્યવાહી ઠપ્પ થઈ ગઈ હતી. ઉપર વડોદરાના લોકપ્રિય સ્થાનિક ન્યુઝ નેટવર્ક વીએનએમ ટીવીના વિડિયોમાં આપ ડોક્ટરને માર મરાયો હોવાના અરેરાટી વ્યાપી જાય તેવા દ્રશ્યો વિડિયોના પહેલા અને બીજા ભાગમાં જોઈ શકો છો.

A doctor was badly beaten by young family members and friends of a patient who died after a surgery in hospital. In two parts video above, you can watch how cruelly a doctor was beaten in the public. Nobody dared to rescue this doctor because of fear that was created by these young men who were out of control. Doctors in Vadodara observed one day strike to protest against this violent assault.
