4-day remand for Gujarat VHP leader Ashwin Patel in SMS case

The Gandhinagar district Local Crime Branch police on Wednesday secured 4-day remand for the Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) Ahmedabad General Secretary Ashwin Patel in connection with sedition, defamation and inflaming communal passions charges filed by Police against him.
Ashwin Govindhbhai Patel was presented before Judicial Magistrate on Wednesday. Police sought 10-day remand for Patel. Magistrate granted 4-day remand.
