Congress launches kiosks to attract youth Voters(VIDEO)
Ahmedabad, 15th of March, 2009
The Congress party has tied up with a company, Wilson Printcity to develop a software for internet kiosks that will provide information about the party and it’s achievement, along with plain internet surfing. The Kiosks named as ‘Hakikat Jaano(know the truth)’ are being placed at colleges, malls, multiplexes and other areas frequented by youths. 12 kiosks are planned for Ahmedabad city. A visitor simply needs to enter his mobile number to get access of the kiosk. For 20 minutes he/she would be able to surf internet. UPA’s achievements, comparison of UPA and NDA rule, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi’s speeches etc. would be a part of the kiosk. Every kiosk would be accompanied by one Congress man to assist the visitors.
