The Gujarat high court has issued a notification allowing lawyers to do away with black coats during summer period between April 1 and July 31.
Given the fact that summers are extremely hot in Gujarat, a committee of three judges, including Chief Justice KS Radhakrishnan, took the decision.
As per the decision, lawyers in Gujarat can now come to court in white shirts and black ties during summer. The decision was welcomed by the lawyers across the state.
