Manmohan Singh humiliates Gujarat
Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 13 April, 2009
The Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, today humiliated Gujarat’s development story. He said no one can claim that Gujarat could be called a developed state since around 1,200 were “butchered” there.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a press conference held at Mumbai’s hotel Grand Hyatt said, “I don’t think Gujarat has the right to call itself a developed state where 1,200 were butchered.”
Another Congress man in queue to humiliate Gujarat on Monday was Congress minister Kapil Sibal, who in Delhi reportedly said, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi a mental patient. Added to this Kapil Sibal said, the Congress party is ready to bear cost of Modi’s mental treatment. While some TV channels aired flash of Sibal’s statement in the afternoon, by the evening Sibal’s statement was nowhere on any channel.
The comment forum below is open for all Gujaratis who feel humiliated by these statements. While one statement by an economist prime minister denies to accept Gujarat as a developed state, strangely due to some events happened way back in 2002, another leader humiliates the state of Gujarat’s elected Chief Minister and therefore it’s people who elected him one and half year back with thumping majority in assembly elections.
