Sanjay Dutt,Amar,Jaya Bachchan failed to reach a rally in Gujarat

Samajwadi Party’g General Secretary Amar Shingh, Bollywood film star turned politician Sanjay Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan’s wife and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan had to cancel their Bharuch tour after a mob reportedly blocked their convoy near Por on National Highway-8 on the outskirts of Vadodara on Wednesday night according to them.

The three were supposed to address an election rally in Bharuch for their candidate Kanaksinh Mangrola. They entered Vadodara via air route and were scheduled to visit Bharuch for a rally.

Talking with the media in Vadodara, Amar Singh said, ” I am a son in law of Gujarat but the state government has not provided me a security cover. I enjoy Z plus security status. I had intimated the Gujarat government about our tour, so that they can arrange our security. But the state administration did not care to provide us a security. When we were on the way to Bharuch to attend our scheduled rally, a mob blocked our convoy near Por village. At that place we decided to cancel further tour citing a security risk and returned back to Vadodara.”

Jaya Bachchan, who was present with Shri Amar Singh avoided to talk with the media. When asked to say something about Narendra Modi, film actor Sanjay Dutt said, “I will answer this question after five years.”
