Ahmedabad(East) BJP candidate Harin Pathak seems happy and satisfy these days. Narendra Modi’s recent rally in Dehgam worked well for him. Congress couldn’t do much during campaign period, leaving just one road show by actress Mahima Chaudhari, which could gather some crowd in already a pro-Congress Chharanagar area.

New areas added to Six-time MP and former Union Minister Harin Pathak’s newly created, post delimitation, Ahmedabad East constituency, are rural. Harin intends to visit all 186 villages during his campaign.

In rural areas, Harin Pathak has introduced a new trick to assure his service to the voters. Harin openly announces his cell phone number in public meetings. He says, “Just pushing some buttons on your handset will connect you and me. It would cost you just half a rupee to call your Member of Parliament.”

Along with his daily on foot campaign, Harinbhai’s office writes thousands of post cards to his voters in rural area. Harinbhai says, “An SMS would reach to one person, but if I write a post card, whole family read it.”
