“I’m attracted towards Gujarat for Garba and Narendra Modi”

India’s one of the most celebrated Bhajan singers Anup Jalota loves Gujarat for it’s folk music-Garba and Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Talking with Gujarati daily Phulchhab on Sunday, Anup Jalota said, “I am attracted towards Gujarat for two reasons:One is folk music-Garba and another is Narendra Modi. Gujarat is lucky to have Narendra Modi as it’s Chief Minister. I grew up in Lucknow. Lucknow is different today but Mayavati has only developed the city. She has not paid similar attention to rural area’s development. Chandrababu Naidu changed the face of Hyderabad but he didn’t pay attention to rural areas as well. Contrary to these examples, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has not only worked for the development of cities but also rural areas in Gujarat. I believe, there should be a Chief Minister like Narendra Modi in every state.”

Jalota was in Rajkot for Bhajan evening.
