Gujarat Krushi Mahotsav from 20th May,Modi reviews preparations

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today convened a high power meeting to review preparations of Krushi Mahotsav-2009.
Chief Minister said Gujarat’s agriculture growth rate has been three time more than the national growth rate. He advised to cover climate change issue in Krushi Mahotsav this year.
Annual Gujarat Krushi Mahotsav is going to start from 20 May. Four Agricultural universities of the state will host agricultural fair, exhibition and zone oriented seminars with participation of farmers. This year’s Krushi Mahotsav will be taluka oriented. Before June 5 two-day-seminars will be organized in all 225 talukas for farmers.
