After Jinnah, what next? Dawood Ibrahim Jaswantji?I would not be surprised if Jaswat Singh after his Jinnah book start writing his next book justifying Dawood Ibrahim’s acts, portraying him as a Hero.

Self proclaimed Hanuman who gave Sanjeevani to Jaish-E-Mohammad

Soon after his expulsion Jaswant Singh claimed once he was Hanuman of the party. What a joke! While lord Hanuman brought Sanjeevani to give Lakshman a life, this self proclaimed Hanuman took a flight to Afghanistan and bartered terrorists to give Jaish-e-Mohammad a birth. If I have to compare, Jaswant was more like a loss making public sector unit rather than Hanuman for the party.

Milking the party:Baap bhi MP, Betaa bhi MP

Jaswant only milked the party without any mass support. He brought his son Manvendra Singh to politics and insisted party to give him ticket from Barmer. Manvendra lost Barmer by margin of 119 106 votes to Congress in last election. Whole India knows, how Jaswant took benefit of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM)-BJP alliance and went along to Darjeeling to fight the election to achieve a cakewalk victory. Beta contesting an election on party ticket from Rajasthan, and Baap from Darjiling. Something very similar to Congress culture that BJP always opposes. This was perfect case of milking the party. And what about serving the party? Probably, Jaswant served the party gifting the great Kandhar embarrassment.

Credibility as author questionable:Check the past

Jaswant Singh’s credibility as an author is questionable. In an attempt to build a hype around his earlier book, Jaswant Singh first hinted that there was a “mole” in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) during the tenure of P.V. Narasimha Rao. Jaswant Singh had said that he would reveal the details of the mole to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, dared him, to name the person who he claimed was a mole in the PMO leaking nuclear secrets to the US. The Prime Minister had said: “If he (Jaswant) has the decency and courage, he should name the person whom he is accusing of being a mole. We are not afraid of any debate on any issue.” However, in the letter sent to the PM, Jaswant Singh did not name any “alleged informant” in PMO who leaked nuclear secrets to the US. The Prime Minister also added, that he was surprised, that Jaswant Singh had not shared the material in his possession as a Cabinet Minister with the then Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

His type of politics

In November, 2007 Jaswant Singh allegedly served his guests opium-laced colored milk Kesar from his cupped palm at-home at his native village of Jasol in Barmer district of Rajasthan. A resident of Jodhpur, Om Prakash Bishnoi, lodged a private complaint against Jaswant Singh and nine others in the special court dealing with narcotics-related offense in Jodhpur under the NDPS Act charging Jaswant and others with illegal possession of opium. I wonder, whether this 71-year-old penned down his book after consuming opium or what.

In April, 2009 Jaswant was caught on camera distributing cash in his son Manvendra Singh’s constituency of Barmer in Rajasthan. When CD was out in media, Jaswant denied any violation of the moral code of conduct and defended the act of distributing money as a family tradition . He said: “It’s a family tradition to help the needy. I am not a candidate, so how can I be guilty of violating the EC code?”

In June, 2009, in the BJP core group meeting, Jaswant Singh had circulated a letter stating that there was lack of coordination among the top brass in decision-making and emphasised that there should be a co-relation between performance and rewards. But soon after controversy erupted around his this gimmick, he started avoiding media.

I remember, when Jaswant was a minister and speaking something on TV, I used to change the channel after some attempts to understand what he was talking exactly. Jaswant is one of the worst orators/communicators in Indian Politics. To tolerate Jaswant Singh on TV is one of the toughest jobs for me, and any young person like me would surely sleep if compelled to listen Jaswant for a minute or more.

I wanted to offer BJP a lock, if they hadn’t expelled Jaswant

Millions of selfless party workers, lived and died for the ideology of RSS-Jan Sangh-BJP, and on their shoulders, on their dead bodies, due to their Balidan, novice like Jaswant Singh and his son Manvendrasingh could create personal political career to become MP and Minister. If Jaswant Singh stabs this ideology, party workers at bottom of the pyramid feel betrayed.

Thanks God, Jaswant is kicked out of the party. If he has some morality left, he should also resign from the parliament. If Jaswant was not expelled, I would surely had gone to the BJP office to offer a lock.
