If you are tired of walking around in too big Indroda Nature Park which is spread over 168 hectares, here is some good news. Visitors at the Indroda park in Gujarat capital Gandhinagar can now enjoy the beauty of nature cycling.
With just Rs 15 hour, a visitor can hire a smart sports bicycle to swift through the concrete track paths in the park. This minimal hire charge has been fixed to ensure that people behave responsibly and take care of the bicycles.
Bicycles are environment-friendly and prevent noise pollution. To create awareness about benefits of cycling, the park, managed by Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation, decided to give bicycles to visitors in the park spread in 1.7 sq km. The park has just five bicycles to begin with but will be increased if the demand increases. The visitors to the park have already started using the bicycles to move around. It would keep them fit and fresh, say park authorities.
