When Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi went to ex-Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel’s bungalow on his 60th birthday early in the morning on Thursday, Keshubhai, once a strong rival of Modi, presented him a Rakshayantra powered by Mahamrityunjay Jap according to a press release by Gujarat government’s Information department.
According to traditional Hindu belief, such yantra protects a person against death, giving him a longer life.
