Chief Minister Modi’s bungalow to have helipad soon

A new exclusive helipad will be constructed right next to the Chief Minister bungalow in Gandhinagar according to sources.

Pre-construction work is already in progress in front of the CM house, where a huge pit, is being filled up with sand from a new lake that is being dug nearby.

Chief Minister Modi and his convey at present travel about 1.5 km distance from CM House to reach the helipad located near the Town hall in sector 17.

Modi travels by helicopter three to four days a week. Every time he travels between the helipad and CM House, the district police authority has to mobilize extra force for his security at helipad as well as on the route.

If the new helipad right next to the CM House works out well, Modi will be able to fly without having to step outside the Ministerial enclave.
