Tourists in Vadodara will be able to board an air-conditioned bus, which will take them on a guided tour of the city.

The service will start on September 27, a World Tourism Day.

While, the service will be handled by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat, Vadodara Municipal Corporation(VMC) would provide the tour guide, literature about famous landmark, monuments and places to the tourists. VMC will also handle booking at its Pravasi Gruh opposite the railway station. Vadodara District Tourism Development Committee and district administration is also contributing to this idea.

According to sources, the bus would start the journey at the station and take a circular route in which famous spots, including EME temple, Planetarium at Sayajibaugh, Kirtimandir, Maharshi Arvind Ashram near Lakdi Pul, Fatehsinh Museum and Qutbuddin Hajira in the Pratapnagar area would be covered before its return to the station.
