AC fails in Spice Jet flight:Ruckus at Ahmedabad airport

About 40 passengers created ruckus at Ahmedabad airport on Monday evening due to allegedly a worst treatment given by an airlines company according to them.

The passengers said, “Our Spice Jet flight took off from Goa airport, but the AC was not on. Even after our complain the cabin crew showed their inability to do anything. Then we started protesting inside the plane. After our strong protest, the flight landed back on Goa airport. But the Spice Jet officials said we had no choice but to board this plane, because there was no other plane available. Finally we boarded the same plane. However after some minutes we felt too much suffocation, and it was terrible to sit inside without air circulation and AC. After four to five persons felled down due to such situation inside the plane, the flight was again re-landed, this time in Mumbai. The primary treatment kit inside the plane was out dated. After some treatment to persons feeling uneasy on Mumbai airport, the flight again took off for Ahmedabad but one passenger had to leave the flight for further treatment in Mumbai. The flight was scheduled to reach Ahmedabad airport at 6:30 pm but it reached four-hour late at 10:45 pm. The time we have spent was so terrible that we have no other option but to create this great ruckus here at Ahmedabad airport.”

Spice Jet officials were unable to comment on this incident. However on unofficial note, one of the employees at Ahmedabad airport said, “such things happen in India.”
