It’s second IPL T20 cricket match in Ahmedabad’s Sardar Patel Motera stadium today and price of a ticket is Rs 50 lesser than the previous match that was held just last week here.

There are several reasons for this price cut. The foremost reason is HEAT. The city is facing highest temperature in March in last 10 years. It’s around 43 degree temperature here. While the fist IPL match was played at 8pm, today’s match is scheduled to be held at 4pm. And at this time around, it’s quite hot here.

The another reason is mosquitoes that harassed the cricket fans who came to watch the first match at Sardar Patel Motera stadium. The fans were literally preventing themselves from mosquitoes using card boards in last match. They don’t want to do that again. However Gujarat Cricket Association yesterday used fogging machines through Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to prevent second IPL match from mosquito menace.

Then the Rajasthan Royals, a host team in Ahmedabad is not doing well. The team has lost all three matches till now. The team is playing again today. Too much cricket and too less performance(of host team) is ruining interest in ongoing IPL series here. There is glamor connected with IPL, but in previous match, any common cricket fain could hardly catch even a single glimpse of the stars like Shilpa Shetty, Harman Baveja, Arbaz Khan etc.

And then there are options like Youtube and Air conditioned multiplexes. These two newer options and ofcourse traditional TV watching is more comfortable. While Youtube telecasts IPL cricket match live streaming on http://youtube.com/ipl, the multiplexes provide all fun including cheerleader dance at reasonable ticket price with better chairs and AC.
