Bodeli-Pratapnagar Broad gauge to be functional shortly

Central Gujarat’s Bodeli-Pratapnagar broad gauge railway line will start functioning this month according to sources.

According to sources, there will be two daily trains in the morning and evening time on this line.

Bodeli and Pratapnagar were connected by 100 year old narrow gauge line. After long time the conversion to broad gauge and all necessary safety checking tasks are completed.

It should be mentioned here that Pratapnagar-Dabhoi line has been already converted into broad gauge and Bodeli-Chhota Udaipur line’s conversion is in advanced stage. It is expected that entire line between Pratapnagar(Dabhoi) and Chhota Udaipur will be functional this year only.
