Key members wanted team Kochi to shift to Ahmedabad
New Delhi, 15 April, 2010

In a very interesting development for Gujarat on Thursday, Central Agriculture Minister and ICC president-designate Sharad Pawar revealed that key members of the Kochi consortium(Kochi IPL team management) now wanted their team to be based out of Ahmedabad, instead of Kochi.
While declining to name the members of the Kochi team, Pawar said that four members of the team had met him with a request to help them in transferring the team to Ahmedabad.
Gujarat is the state that provides highest viewership to IPL matches. India’s fastest developing state missed IPL franchise twice in past.
