82-year old poor Amrabhai Keshabhai Parmar who was on fast unto death died today morning in Gujarat’s Bhachau.
Parmar was on fast from 15 February to get his land back from land grabbers. After his health deteriorated, he was taken to GK General hospital on 6th April.
Parmar was fighting to get his land back from last five years. Earlier he had protested sitting on fast in front of district collector office. District collector had promised for justice at that time. But Parmar didn’t get his land back. So he was again on fast, this time unto the death since February 15.
Parmar’s son Premjibhai alleged that the Mamlatar of Bhachau taluka Mr. Bhavesh patel was responsible for his father’s death.
