Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat, 21 April, 2010
More than 100 passengers of Gujarat waiting to catch Air India’s Frankfert flight on Wednesday, were once again disappointed due to mismanagement of Air India.
Air India’s 240 passengers who had booked ticket to reach America via Frankfurt, were called by the airlines company to Ahmedabad airport on Wednesday morning.
When 240 passengers arrived at the airport and formed a queue, at one point it was suddenly announced that “the plane coming from Delhi has capacity of only 110 seats and therefore others would have to go back to their hotels to return back tomorrow”.
Vinod Patel a middle age traveler who had come to Ahmedabad airport to catch Ahmedabad-Frankfurt-Newark flight told DeshGujarat that he was standing in queue and there were just five persons before him and it was suddenly announced that no more boarding pass would be issued due to availability of smaller size plane then expected.
Another passenger Dinesh Jariwala had arrived here from Surat after he was called to board the flight. However he was told to try next day when he actually reached Ahmedabad airport.
