Following are important points from Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on the eve of Gujarat’s Golden Jubilee at Ahmedabad’s Gujarat University Exhibition hall on the occasion of NRG meet.

-The Jew community has made a position to influence the world. If there is only other community capable to mark its place on the hirizons of the world, it is the Gujarati community. If they united, Gujaratis can be second to Jews in terms of influence and power in the world.

-As a Gujarati whenever you meet some person who is not Gujarati, tell him that you speak a language of Mahatma Gandhi. Isnt’ it exiting that we speak same language that Mahatma Gandhi spoke?

-When horse pulls a cart, some people don’t see persons sitting in cart but they definitely see a horse. The task of this horse is full of hard work. Sometime it is beaten, sometime it is rewarded. I am like this horse, having a responsibility of the state.

-Chief Minister gave credit of today’s Gujarat to all the governments in past and the people of the state.

-Modi said, “I don’t want somebody to search for location of Gujarat when he talks about India. I want people to say that Mumbai is located in southern side of Gujarat and Delhi is located in northern side of Gujarat.”

-Modi in his speech remembered how famous late author of Gujarat Shri Chandrakant Bakshi used to say ‘Mahajati Gujarati’. Modi said Bakshi was never ready to accept anything below ‘Mahajati’ for Gujarati people.

-Modi said in this Golden Jubilee event, nobody is guest and nobody is host. This is our celebration.
