Gujarat’s Mandvi town is welcoming legendary super star of Indian films, Amitabh Bachchan with sand sculptures of him in film Shehanshah’s get up and his father Shri Harivanshrai Bachchan’s book Madhushala. The sand sculptures are being made by local artist Anil Joshi.
Amitabh Bachchan is coming to Mandvi for a day for shooting of Gujarat Tourism ad film. He will shoot here at Vijay Vilas palace and Mandvi beach.
About 2000 square meter sand has been used for this 100 ft long, 18 ft wide and 12 ft high sand sculpture on wind farm beach of Mandvi.
Sand sculpture is an art that has started picking up on the coast line of Gujarat, thanks to Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts. Modi started organizing sand sculpture events on the coast of Porbandar and Mandvi last year. A sand sculpture artist from Orissa was called to Porbandar to train local youths for making perfect sand sculptures.
