“I am a thief” procession in Gujarat village(Photograph)

This is a photo from Botad town of Bhavnagar district. A bike thief was nabbed by police with stolen bikes worth Rs. 3.40 lac.

A master thief was taken out in the village in procession style by local police. A board was hanged in his neck stating ‘I am thief’.

This culprit had created so much tension for police and for his victims – the common pubic. A procession of such scale was taken out to make him feeling shame.
