The Kutchhi dinner menu will include local variety food items such as Khari Bhat, Loda vali Khichdi, Rotlo, Besan Gatta vegetable, Kersangli, buttermilk, Bhajiya, Churmu, and Mag ni fotravali dal among others.

The tourists will be served Kutchi Adadiya at Indo-Pak border in the evening packed nashta. In package tours, Kutchhi Dabeli will be served to the tourists. It should be mentioned that famous Gujarati fast food ‘Dabeli’ was discovered by a person in Kutch’s Mandvi town. Dabeli is very popular fast food item in Kutch. It is also known as Double Roti here.

Kutch’s sweets are so popular that every year during Diwali, the Pakistani rangers literally wait on the border to receive a basket full of Kutchhi sweets from counterpart Indian Border Security Force jawans. It is popularly said that Kutch’s Banni grassland area has more population of cattle compare to humans. Thanks to rich availability of milk, the Banni region of Kutch has its own set of milk based food varieties. While in other parts of Gujarat one would see Ganthiya, Fafda and Gota stalls, in Kutch ‘s Banni area, there are road-side ‘Mava’ stalls that offer milk mava to visitors. During Rann Utsav, the tourists halt at such mava stalls and buy mava to eat instantly.
