Bhuj, 19 December, 2010

Kutch Rann Utsav 2010 was kicked off by the Chief Minister in Bhuj at a grand carnival parade on the bank of Hamirsar lake in Bhuj on Sunday.
Modi’s festive style statement is visible in the photo presented above. Modi’s this saffron yellow silk kurta has borders(at wrists and the button panel) made out of Patola silk. While Patola saree costs anything between five to eight lakh Rupees nowadays, the Patola bordered kurta would surely costs several thousands.
Modi does not miss a chance to promote Gujarat’s unique art of Patola. Also Look at this photo in which Modi is seen in Patola scarf. The photo was taken during Navratri.
However Modi’s most discussed dress was this , and it is western dress. Many criticized this dress, and many commented on this dress with fancy comparisons.
However our favorite outfit that Modi had dressed was this. This is traditional tribal top and paghdi of eastern Gujarat’s Dahod district. Modi had not dressed this voluntarily, but he was offered this top and paghdi on the stage during the function. Good that he dressed it.
