Harmful hair dye is used to turn white til into black!!

This is very shocking news. Highly harmful substance ‘black hair dye’ is now used to turn white Til into black. This is because of a very high price difference between white and black til.

Recently some women bought black til to make food items in winter in Saurashtra’s Savarkundla town. As soon as they washed til in water, they found black hair color coming out of the tal. Soon whole water turned into black.

According to local doctors such tricks to earn extra margin by traders can be very harmful for kidney.

It should be mentioned here that recently similar incident was noticed in north Gujarat’s Unjha town where Food and Drugs department raided a godown of black til on Visnagar road near Unjha and seized 61 bags(4575 Kg) of til worth Rs. 4,39,200.

When Food and Drug department team led by Deputy Commissioner Dipikaben Chauhan put a small portion of seized black till in water, the water turned into black.

A case was imidiately registered against Unjha’s trader Mafatram Joitaram Patel(M.M.Magajwala).

Some time back similar case was registered against a trader in Rajkot too.

Production of black til is lesser compare to white til.While white til seels at Rs. 80 per kg, black til sells for Rs. 120.
