Godhra court grants anticipatory bail to Teesta Setalvad

Mumbai based controversial NGO operator Teesta Setalvad was today granted anticipatory bail by Gujarat’s Godhra fast track court.
Teesta had filed anticipatory bail plea through her counsel A A Hasan in a Godhra court, anticipating her arrest in connection with exhumation of bodies of riot victims in Lunawada.
Nine accused have been arrested in this case including Setalvad’s one-time close aide Rais Khan Pathan.
