Ahmedabad airport launches SMS updates for international flights

For the first time in the country, the Ahmedabad Airport has started interactive voice response (IVR) service for passangers of international flights.The travelers of international flights before leaving for the airport can get their flight information by sending a text message to 9909944909.

-Call on 22858056 to get information through the IVR facility.

-To get the flight information through an SMS, text the two digit airline code followed by the flight number (example AI130).

The helpline system will be connected directly with the flight information display system (FIDS) installed at the Ahmedabad airport. As soon as the airline staff updates FIDS, IVR will be updated automatically. Similarly the SMS service will also be connected with the FIDS. Updated status of FIDS will be sent to the passenger through SMS.
