New bullet proof barrack set up at Shri Somnath Mandir

A new bullet proof barrack was today opened at Shri Somnath Mandir in Gujarat.

This barrack would enable security guards protecting Shri Somnath Mandir to take position under cover against any possible terror attack.

Also the barrack would be able to accommodate about 30 persons at a time, if any need arises to protect them from terror attack.

The new post has been built using bullet proof material. It replaces the older post at same place, just outside the Digvijay gate of Shri Somnath mandir.
