Pre-Departure Orientation for students leaving for the US on 8 July

The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) is organizing a Pre-Departure Orientation program on July 8th, 2011, for students leaving for the U.S. in Fall 2011. The venue is South Lounge, Ground Floor, Centre 1 World Trade Centre. The day-long program will cover every aspect of settling in from what to pack before you leave, entry into the U.S, campus and academic life, socio cultural issues to specific information on banking, telephone connectivity and travel.

The Consul General, Mr. David Taylor will be present to address the students. The panel comprises Fulbright scholars, visa officers and recently returned Indian students who will address the audience on all aspects of studying in the U.S. The program offers small group discussion sessions for closer interaction with the panelists.
