New Delhi, 10 October, 2011

Former Deputy Prime Minister, Gujarat MP and BJP leader LK Advani was today asked by a journalist whether he is in race to become Prime minister of India or not. Advani in his reply didn’t say he was not in race!! As the question mentioned Advani’s meeting with Mohan Bhagwat(RSS chief), Advani also said in his reply that who will become Prime minister from BJP would be decided by party.

Journalist asks:Advaniji when you went to meet Mohan Bhagwatji, you said that party had given you so much that was more than the position of the Prime minister. But the nation wants to know that as you are physically so fit, are you in race of prime minister’s post or not?

Advani repliesWho will become Prime Minister will be decided by the party when election will arrive. There are two-three years left. Yes that’s true that the government is functioning in a way that a common people think that it would not complete its term, or whether the people would have to tolerate this regime for three years? But the fact is that, It will be decided by the party that who will be our leader, we don’t have any shortage of leaders.
