Modi’s inaugural speech at e-Governance conference(Video)

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today delivered an inaugural address at national e-governance conference in Ahmedabad’s Nirma University. Presented above is a video of his speech.

-Computers should not become a bouquet of flowers on tables of government offices.
-E-governance means easy-effective-economical governance.
-Under Jyotigram scheme, Gujarat has separated rural feeders for agriculture and home usage to give three phase supply to all 18000 villages round the clock. And now 19 different technical modules are to be comprehensively coordinated to bring qualitative changes in the areas including power usage, power theft, revenue from power and power generation capacity. Gujarat government has started E-Urja project on experiment basis from April-2011. After more research and technology applied, Gujarat govt will make a forma announcement in this regard.
