Gujarat Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela took a dig at Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s Sadbhavana fast and said it would not bring any result.
In informal talk with media persons, Vaghela said, “Modi takes breakfast in morning and then sits on Sadbhavana fast at 10.00 am. He then completes his fast at 5.00 pm and takes full dinner in the evening. How such drama of fasts can bring sadbhavana? Modi govt is wasting public money in the name of Sadbhavana fasts. Such dramas should end.”
Vaghela hinted that Gujarat Congress would select educated youths and women candidates in next Gujarat assembly general election scheduled to be held in December 2012.
Vaghela said if BJP wins Mansa assembly by-election, it will surely invite general election of Gujarat assembly as early as in June 2012.
Vaghela said Gujarat Congress will come in action with ten specific pro-people issues in January 2012.
