Another day, another anti-Modi lie exposed, this time Modi himself did the job

Another day, another lie spread by mainstream media(MSM) stays exposed.

If yesterday it was Navsari district authority that exposed the lies spread by Keshubhai and brigade. Today the job of exposing another lie was done by Chief Minister Narendra Modi himself.

While speaking at Junagadh in Vivekananda convention today, Modi termed a news item on Rs 800 per dish catered in 15 August function as funny. Shri Modi in his speech said:

“Today I read in a newspaper that a dish worth Rs 800 will be catered in Chief Minister’s Junagadh function. I was surprised because no lunch event was organized in Junagadh by us. When I came here and inquired, our Collector shared an interesting detail that I would like to share with you.”

“Our Collector informed me that the officials visiting Junagadh for 15 August function from outside the district will be catered food. But even that dish is not worth Rs 800. Total approved sum in tender for two time chai nashta, lunch and dinner is fixed at Rs 132.”

“Then I thought, newspapers can’t be entirely wrong, and when they have published the figure of Rs 800, there should be something. Then we probed and we came to know that today evening honorable Governor has organized an at-home event. This event is totally organized by Governor. Governor invites the guests and organizes the function. Neither Narendra Modi nor state government plays any role in it. We just have to pay bills. It was Governor who invited tenders – not for lunch-dinner and two time nashta which we fixed at Rs 132 – but just for one-time chai nashta for her 4.30 pm at-home programme.”

“And one gentleman from Junagadh offered a chai nashta dish for Rs 700. Now Governor thought that if Gujarat BJP govt fixed dinner,lunch,two time chai-nashta tender at Rs 132, if she would fix Rs 700 for single chai nashta dish, there will be a problem. Therefore she invited another tender and the final rate fixed by her for one-time chai nashta dish is Rs 250.”

“Gujarat’s Raj Bhavan has become Congress Bhavan and this is the result.”

“And I want to tell the friends in newspapers that if you blindly publish the news thinking that Modi would be defamed, this will happen. Those who have taken supari of Modi are exposed. It is unfortunate that such activities are going on in the state. This govt has lowered down its spending. We have spent money in development works and therefore development is visible today. Limitless lies are spread.”

The Chief Minister was commenting on Gujarat Samachar’s second page story ‘While Gujarat is facing scarcity of water, Junagadh’s Modi mahotsav caters feast of Rs 800 dish’. The two column story quoting Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia says that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has organized a flag hoisting function in Junagadh after declaring 152 talukas of Gujarat scarcity-hit. In the functions(in Junagadh) the officers and those invited will enjoy the feast of single dish worth Rs 800. Congress will oppose such tamashas.”
