Modi to address 24 Garib Kalyan Melas live through video

Chief Minister Narendra Modi will address as many as 24 Garib Kalyan Mela (poor welfare fairs) through video conference. From Friday, 17th of August, the fifth round of Garbi Kalyan Mela will kick off covering 52 talukas.
Gujarat has witnessed 869 Garib Kalyan Mela in past in four phases in which more than 76 lakh poor beneficiaries received government assistance and tools(mostly for self-employment) worth Rs 10,000 crore rupees.
On 17 August itself, 72000 beneficiaries will receive benefits worth Rs 215 crore through the state ministers.
