Congress type of politics: Rush for ‘Ghar nu ghar’ forms, Modhwadia claims 28 lakh forms distributed(Video)

Gujarat Congress’s ‘Ghar nu ghar’ ( own home ) form distribution drive received overwhelming response at various centres across Gujarat on Monday. The three-day drive was kicked off today by Gujarat Congress president Arjun Modhwadia at Ahmedabad’s Chandkheda area.

Speaking in the morning at one of the 64 form distribution centres in Ahmedabad, Modhwadia claimed that by 10.00 am as many as one million forms were distributed across the state(in just two hours as per his claim).

“This shows that all the big talks on so called development are baseless, and so many poor women actually need home to live,” he said adding that if elected to power, Congress will stop giving land to industries and allot land to homeless women.

“Industries will be asked to procure land on their own, and homeless women will be provided land,” he said.

Modhwadia said that the scheme involves free land offered by the government, but the house will not be given for free. (Read the details of the scheme here)

Meanwhile eight form distribution centers in Vadodara had to be shut down due to heavy rush and chaos which caused injury to one old woman.
