The speech that Modi heard, admired, and missed his schedule(Video)

Ahmedabad, 2 December, 2012

National vice president of BJP Shri Purushottam Rupala is considered as one of the best orators in Gujarat BJP.

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi had to file his nomination papers for Maninagar assembly seat at auspicious vijay murhut time 12.39 pm. This was the time announced in media, and Modi files nomination paper at this time only before every election.

But before going to Collector office to file nomination, Shri Modi had to deliver a speech in Maninagar.

Shri arrived on the stage in Maninagar after 12.00.

Shri Rupala was delivering speech at that time. Shri Modi asked Rupala to continue his speech. Shri Rupala’s speech was good and it continued.

Shri Modi heard Rupala’s speech, knowing well that he would miss his 12.39 vijay muhurat time.

When Shri Modi stood up to deliver his own speech, the first few lines were about admiration of Rupala’s speech.

By the time Modi finished his speech, the 12.39 muhurat lapsed.

Here is the speech of Purushottam Rupala. It’s in typical rural Gujarati style.
