Ahmedabad, 8 December 2012
Union Cabinet Minister for Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, Ajay Maken today in a press conference in Ahmedabad alleged that funds allocated to Gujarat by the Centre weren’t used by the Gujarat government.
Maken attacked Gujarat government’s track record in utilizing the central government funds for housing under Rajiv Awas Yojna and JnNURM.
Maken said, “When Modi could only build 55000 home in the past 7 years, how is he claiming to build 50 lakh homes in the next 5 years (if voted back into power)?”
