In the last rally of Sunday, at Amdavad’s Jivraj Park, Gujart Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi said the Narmada dam project was delayed due to Congress rulers.
Modi said, “The father-in-law of Soniaji’s father-in-law laid stone for the Narmada dam project, but then for 26 years, no work was initiated on the site.”
“Then came daughter Indiraji, and for 9 years the project could not progress in the name of environment,” Modi added.
“Now Manmohan Singh is not permitting erection of tall gates over Narmada dam. Each gate is as high as a six floor building. Erection work would take five-year time, but Manmohan Singh is not permitting the erection work,” Modi said.
