Demonisation wouldn’t work against him, Renuka Chowdhary types would only help Modi

While Modi is continuously rising and rising on national level, the Congress party it seems on Friday applied full force to demonize him.

So Friday saw union minister Manish Tiwari attacking Modi on 2002 riot issue(once again), Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia describing Modi as a liar on development front, and in worst effort, Congress party’s national spokesperson Renuka Chowdhury passing remarks on Modi’s personal life to paint him as anti-women!

The Congress spokesperson Renuka Chowdhury said Modi has no respect for his own wife or someone else’s wife. He is anti-poor, anti-rural development, anti-women. He lives in urban fantasies. He does not know how to spell ‘agriculture’.”

Chowdhury said there was no reason for the Congress to waste time over Modi, being touted as the main prime ministerial contender of his party.

But would such exercises of demonisation work? Well, read here what B.Raman said on twitter today:

-EU coming to terms with NAMO reality.
-Some journos who made their names by demonising NAMO find it difficult to come to terms with the reality.
-That the EU and others countries no longer accept their negative projection of him. One feels sorry for them.
-Their mindset can be seen in Nidhi who made it as if he went to German Ambassador’s lunch on his own.
-Demonisation used to be their weapon. It no longer works. It is now a desperate bid to play him down.

Now the last line is important, and it is true not just for the anti-Modi section of media, but also for the Congress spokespersons and leaders who do duty of Modi-bashing most of the time.We have seen in Gujarat that more you throw mud on Modi, more he is successful in getting a good number of lotuses. It seems India is in same direction. More demonisation is equal to more polarization, clearly befitting Modi.
