Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi has called a meeting of member of parliaments representing Gujarat on Saturday in connection with the parliament session starting from 21st February. The issues of Gujarat with centre will be discussed during this meeting. Such meeting is held once every year. Most of the times the Congress MPs boycott such meetings, and sometimes when they attend it, the meeting witnesses heated arguments, as Congress is ruling party in centre and BJP is in power in state. This time, it is learnt that Congress MPs who want to participate are allowed to attend the meeting by state Congress leadership. A coordinator of Congress MPs elected from Gujarat and Rajkot MP Shri Kunvarji Bavalia said, “each Congress MP will take a decision on whether to attend the meeting as per his/her own convenience.” The meeting will take place at 11.30 am in Sachivalaya followed by lunch at circuit house.
