BMW hit and run case:Vismay Shah sent on one-day remand

Local court in Ahmedabad today sent BMW hit and run case accused Vismay Shah to one-day remand. Two youths Shivam Dave and Rahul Patel succumbed to death after the bike they were riding on was hit by Vismay Shah’s BMW car three days back late in the evening in Vastrapur area of Ahmedabad. Vismay who was allegedly drunk at the time of accident escaped the spot and surrendered before police only after 60 hours. His blood test was taken yesterday, but Civil hospital Superintendent clearly said that presence of Alcohol could be detected only within 24 hours.
