Can you imagine the figure of money the Gujarat government spends for pension of its retired employees?
Well, the number of retired employees is over 3.81 lakh and they are paid more than Rs 6700 crores as pension every year.
This detail was shared by state Finance Minister Shri Nitin Patel in Gujarat Assembly today. He said, the state government pays Rs 6700 crore pension to 381275 retired employees every year.
He said the government deposits pension money to bank account of retired employee.
