New Delhi, 2 March 2013
Every time his name mentioned, the Talkatora stadium was full of cheer, applause and slogans.
Yes we are talking about Narendra Modi.
This happened first when BJP President Rajnath Singh mentioned his name while starting the speech.
Later Rajnath in his speech said that the recent Gujarat victory was only one example in the history of BJP where under one leader the party won three elections.
Rajnath praised Modi’s leadership and popularity and said that even Britain and America had to praise his development achievements.
Rajnath asked those present in the stadium to give standing ovation to Mr. Modi.
Around 4,000 partymen present in the stadium gave Mr. Modi standing ovation until Rajnath Singh asked them to stop so that he could make further announcement.
Further announcement was about Rajnath’s wish to honor Mr. Modi not only with the words and standing ovation, but also with garland.
Rajnath offered garland to Mr. Modi and hugged him.
