Mumbai felicitation function of Modi, Rajnath canceled

Mumbai BJP has cancelled the 17th March felicitation function of party president Rajnath Singh and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi due to the sever drought situation in Maharashtra on request of both the leaders. The function was to be held at Somaiya Grounds in Mumbai.
RTI activist Anil Galgali had sent a letter to Rajnath Singh on the drought situation in Maharashtra and expressed an opinion that 17th March function will send a wrong signal to the people of Maharashtra.
