255 vehicles registered in one and half month in 100% tribal district Dang

Dang is southern Gujarat district with 100% tribal population. The district did not have RTO office. The Chief Minister opened RTO office here early this year in January. After this, only in one and half month, 300 tribal have applied for driving license. Not only this but 255 vehicles are registered in just one and half month.
Transport minister Nitin Patel sharing the details in the assembly said that a new RTO office in Dang has been allotted GJ-30 code. He said in year 2013-14 three new RTO offices will be started; one in Surat’s Pal, another in Vadodara’s Darjipura and third at Bavla in Ahmedabad(rural). Surat(Pal) RTO will be allotted GJ-28 code while Vadodara(Darjipura) will be given GJ-29 registration code.
