Tourist arrivals at Sasan Gir double in two years

Thanks to Amitabh Bachchan starer ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’ campaign by Gujarat Tourism, the number of visitors in Gujarat’s Sasan Gir has doubled in two years.
Shri Saurabh Patel, Tourism Minister of Gujarat today shared this detail in Gujarat assembly.
He said, “state government planned to develop Sasan Gir in Junagadh district. Khushboo Gujarat Ki campaign has been successful to attract tourists, and there has been considerably well increase in number of tourists visiting Sasan Gir.”
“In 2010-11 Sasan Gir witnessed arrival of 1,50,182 visitors which was 1,72,531 in 2011-12, while in year 2012-13 it was further up and by December 3,02,428 visitors visited Sasan Gir,” he added.
