A list of those permitted to keep red beacon light over their car in Gujarat

Transport Minister Shri Nitin Patel today in reply to a question in Gujarat assembly said that a list of dignitaries whose cars are entitled to have red beacon light with flasher, without flasher and siren has been prepared, and as per the Central Vehicle Act 1989, the state government issues orders on this time-to-time. Any person or office bearer who keeps such light over the car will face actions as per the rules, the minister added.
