State wise figures of Cotton production in India in last four years, even with lower production Gujarat continues to top

Following are the details of the state-wise production of cotton in Lakh bales measurement in last four years. Compared to previous two years, Gujarat witnessed lesser production of cotton in year 2012-13 due to poor rain. However Gujarat has continued to occupy no.1 position in terms of highest production of cotton in India. The figures are obtained from the Agriculture Ministry of India.
